From Hostel Room to Helping Brands Worldwide
My story began in a confined girls hostel with nothing but a laptop and a dream to be independent and create something of my own.
In 2016, I delivered my very first freelancing content piece and uploaded my first video on YouTube. I was paid ₹300. But that tiny win lit a fire in me, I knew I was on the right track.
I learned, adapted, and kept improving. I worked jobs, side-hustled late into the night, moved into full-time freelancing… and eventually, turned my vision into a company DigiPlusTech.
Fast forward to today, DigiPlusTech helps brands and companies grow through social media marketing. We’ve helped our clients reach millions of people worldwide and we’ve walked that exact path ourselves.
From consultants to founders, and companies across India, UAE, Spain, USA, UK, and beyond, our work has crossed borders, industries, and cultures. And we’re only getting started.

A decade of bold leaps, late nights, and learning by doing, here’s how I turned a laptop in a hostel room into a thriving agency serving clients across 13+ countries.
The First Spark
As a college student, I stumbled into the world of content creation and YouTube.
Back then, it was just curiosity experimenting with ideas, learning how the digital world worked, and creating for fun.
Stepping into Social Media
After graduating, I took my first full-time job in social media marketing.
For two years, I balanced work with a growing passion for creating and helping brands online.
The Side Hustle Begins
This was the year I decided to take my skills beyond my 9-5. I started my Instagram account, Marketing.Mona, and began freelancing in the evenings. Little did I know, this would become the foundation of my entire career.
The Leap
I quit my job to go all in on freelancing.
Little safety net, no plan B, just a laptop, a vision, and relentless work.
Building My Dream
I founded DigiPlusTech, my social media marketing agency.
That year, I also began coaching and mentoring students from around the world.
For the first time, I embraced being a girl boss, an expert, a CEO, and a mentor roles I once only dreamed of. Received an award for ‘Best Marketing Agency Owner.’
The Voice & The Stage
From training hundreds of students to speaking at some of the most prominent universities, I found my voice.
I collaborated with global brands as a micro creator, became a panelist at multiple events, and delivered keynotes that challenged and inspired audiences.
Milestones & Momentum
We celebrated our first 100 clients in February.
By the end of the year, we opened our first offline office. I was honored to speak on Josh Talks, connecting with lakhs more through my story.
Growing Without Limits
Today, I’ve built a community of over 70,000 people with 30K on Instagram, 30K on LinkedIn and have served clients in 13+ countries, including the UAE, USA, UK, Australia, Spain & more.
The journey ahead? Scaling, innovating, and expanding into new services while staying true to the mission: helping people and brands grow without losing themselves in the process.
